Our last Shout Out & Alert was in January. I made the executive decision as a volunteer director to shift to Quarterly Shout Out & Alerts. This makes managing easier, and allows for a broader sharing of what is to be celebrated over the past 60-90 days as well as what is exciting
ahead in your engagements, speaking, special events, special recognition, etc. Thanks for all of you who share your one-on-ones, and news so we can include you in this special communication.
Kudos to all who continue to make ACAC a community of consultants of the highest caliber and intent. And congratulations to Dan Black on his new venture and company, Learning Innovations Group. We look forward to Dan leading our facilitated session at our May 14th Virtual Meeting, where he will get us thinking

+ IMC Carolinas Featuring ACAC Members
The Institute of Management Consultants Carolinas hosted an in-person conference, "Accelerate Both Your Clients' and Your Success in 2021" on Monday, May 10th at the Grandover Resort & Conference Center. IMC Carolinas chapter, including ACAC members: Larry Fuschino, Tom Gottcent, Kathleen Zicari, and James Bellew. Larry led the workshop with panelists on how becoming a Fractional Executive could be instrumental
in elevating your consulting business.
IMC Carolinas' Regional Meetings include the opportunity to meet fellow consultants, learn from experts, and networking with peers from the Carolinas and

Kristina Albert spoke at the Women in Technology International Association (WITI) on "Lost in Translation: 3 Secrets to Successfully Communicate in Times of Chaos and Uncertainty" on March 4th.

Tom Bixby invited everyone to the Exit Planning Exchange (XPX) Charlotte Chapter launch event on April 14th. Attendees discussed business exit and succession planning while learning about the XPX Charlotte Chapter.

Leanne Cannon invited everyone to a live stream fundraiser, An Evening of Jazz Music, in support of a great cause for kids on May 7th.

Dianne Chase spoke to the Women's Financial Executives Networking Special Interest Group on March 17th on Strategic Storytelling. Dianne also conducted her GENIUS storytelling workshop on January 28th.

Topics included: Networking That WORKS for Long-term Success, She Inc. to WOW Inc., and Expenses vs. Investments: Is an Expense Mindset Limiting Your Business? Funding was in conjunction with

Kristina Albert has joined the Queens University of Charlotte as a McColl School Leadership Coach. Kristina will share her time and expertise to work with MBA graduate students who are part of the Leadership Development course of the McColl School of Business.

+ 2021 Goals & Resource/Support
In 2019, we started a new value-added engagement aspect to the ACAC organization model, the Goals & Support/Resources document. The purpose of this document is to encourage engagement and trust-building according to our Mission &
Values. For those who were in attendance on December 11th, your goals and support/resource requests are automatically included in the 2021 Goals & Support/Resources
document.
Based on feedback from last year, we have added a couple of fields to the document including company name, area of expertise, and ideal target markets. This was great feedback and should empower everyone with the insight needed to make great referrals or connections!
HOW TO BE ADDED TO THE DOCUMENT: For those of you who could not make it to the meeting in December, you can still be added! All it takes is a little bit of effort on your part:
- Review the document and see if you can offer any assistance to anyone on the list. CLICK HERE to review.
- Assistance entails, making a referral, introduction to help someone move toward their goal, OR to realize the resource or support request.
- One-on-one meetings do not count. These are recognized in the Shout Outs but do not count as an engagement factor unless, during that one-on-one, you offered the resource or goal connection.
- Help FOUR people on the list and your goal and resource can be added. Simply let Sherre', Jeff Moder, or John Natoli know what you did and for whom, and we will confirm. Once you have reached your four minimum, you can be added. It's that simple!
ALREADY ON THE LIST? Just because you are already on the list doesn't mean you shouldn't seek to add value to fellow members! Why not be the example? Let's see how much support we can all be to one another! Who knows what the year ahead may bring and it is always a little better with a little help from our friends and colleagues!
+ Attendance Has Its Privileges
ATTENDANCE HAS ITS PRIVILEGES! All the more reason to participate and attend, so you can share your exciting involvements with the group.
- MONTHLY MEMBER ALERTS: To have your items considered, send to sherre@bizgrowthinc.com by the deadline stated in the post-meeting Thank You or What You Missed email each month to be considered for the inclusion in the following month.
- Share items that are happening in the upcoming 30-45 day time period. It can be an event at which you are being featured or a charitable event.
- Thank yous can be for a referral, an opportunity to collaborate, or some other form of engagement with or support from another member.
- IMPORTANT NOTE: After more than four months of non-attendance, re-engagement with attendance will be required again to be able to share information and be included in the alerts.
- BEING A MEETING FACILITATOR: Did you know? The Leadership Team has determined that another benefit of regular attendance is the opportunity to facilitate a meeting session on a topic you are passionate about that is of value to other ACAC members and their clients. Why do we only allow attendees to be considered? It is yet another form of building trust and engagement within our group. Those
who are engaged in the group gain further ways to connect and showcase success and competencies. Now you know!
- ACCESS TO ATTENDEE'S LIST: Each meeting, as a follow-up, the attendees' emails are shared in a follow-up email, with the hopes that one-on-ones and connections will continue to be fostered outside of the monthly meetings. If you have shared an event at the meeting, you are encouraged to use that list to share further info with those attendees in a follow-up communication.
