- A BIG THANK you to IMC Carolinas for supporting supplies expenses for ACAC.
There was a lot of connecting shared at this past meeting with one-on-ones among many of you. Those who are not on the Goals & Support Spreadsheet may have qualified to add your name to the list.
How do you get added?
- To get your goal and support/resource added, simply check out the PDF and take the initiative to help at least four people with their goal or support request. Report back to Sherre', Karen Bentley, or Jeff Moder, and you will be able to add your goal and support to the list upon verification.
- Clarification: One-on-one meetings are a great start, and will get you recognized for having these meetings in the Shout Out sections. Actually making connections, referrals, or providing resource ideas per the Goals & Support PDF is how you get added.
- Already added: Let us know how you are helping others! This is what this communication is all about!

+ Attendance Has Its Privileges
ATTENDANCE HAS ITS PRIVILEGES! All the more reason to participate and attend, so you can share your exciting involvements with the group.
- MONTHLY MEMBER ALERTS: To have your items considered, send to sherre@bizgrowthinc.com by the 25th of the month to be considered for the inclusion in the following month.
- Share items that are happening in the upcoming 30-45 days time period. It can be an event you are being featured, or a charitable event.
- Thank yous can be for a referral, an opportunity to collaborate, or some other form of engagement with or support from another member.
- IMPORTANT NOTE: After more than four months of non-attendance, re-engagement with attendance will be required again to be able to share information and be included in the alerts.
- BEING A MEETING FACILITATOR: Did you know? The Leadership Team has determined that another benefit of regular attendance is the opportunity to facilitate a meeting session on a topic you are passionate about that is of value to other ACAC members and their clients. Why do we only allow attendees to be considered? It is yet another form of building trust and engagement within our group. Those who are engaged in the group gain further ways to
connect and showcase success and competencies. Now you know!
- ACCESS TO ATTENDEES LIST: Each meeting, as a follow-up, the attendees emails are shared in a follow-up email, with the hopes that one-on-ones and connections will continue to be fostered outside of the monthly meetings. If you have shared an event at the meeting, you are encouraged to use that list to share further info with those attendees in a follow-up communication.
Always the Second Friday of the Month!

Mindfulness in Relationship Building
Why are ACAC and IMC a great strategic combination for your consulting business? Here is what Karen Bentley shared about why she joined IMC and values ACAC.
"Since starting my consulting business in early 2018, I have attended dozens of networking and business development meetings; ACAC being one of those. ACAC is the only professional organization I have committed to attending consistently because I have found it to be of high value - a group of professionals committed not only to the growth of their business, but also authentically committed to seeing their colleagues succeed. As a result of my participation in ACAC, I
had an opportunity to attend a Carolinas Chapter IMC meeting which piqued my interest in learning more about the national organization. Additionally, through the trusting relationships built at ACAC I was asked to present a workshop at the September quarterly meeting of the IMC Carolinas Chapter. Having had an opportunity to interact with the professionals engaged with IMC here in North Carolina, I was motivated to join the national organization. As with ACAC,
the IMC is an organization committed to providing quality content and a strong network of professionals committed to each other's success." - Karen Bentley, Bentley Consulting Group
