ABOUT PARKING: Consider parking in the Marriot parking lot behind the Village Shoppes at Southpark. There is access to the Village courtyard to get to Toscana.

ABOUT LUNCH: There is no fee to attend the meeting, however, you are expected to purchase lunch. Toscana's is providing this room to ACAC at no charge under the condition that all parties in attendance purchase lunch. The bread and beans come with a lunch purchase and are not provided as a replacement for lunch.

After insightful introductions starting promptly at 12:20 p.m., we will spend around 10-15 minutes sharing updates and reinforcing latest developments with ACAC.

Leveraging for Awareness & Credibility

At our June gathering, Geri Rosman shared how well Felix Nater was doing on the PR front in positioning himself as an expert. What are all the ways you can best position yourself as THE expert in your area of compentency and know-how? Felix will facilitate our sharing in how he does it as well as how others in our group may be doing it. Be ready to learn and to share!

BIO: Felix P. Nater, CSC, is a security management and President /founder of Nater Associates, Ltd. He is a nationally recognized highly-skilled Workplace Violence Prevention Advisor & Consultant with over 30 years of federal law enforcement and consulting. He's a Certified Security Consultant as awarded by the International Association of Professional Security Consultants (IAPSC). Felix believes that workplace violence prevention begins with having a robust, agile, proactive (RAP) mindset that avoids being caught by surprise. With over two decades of specialized experience & expertise acquired as a U.S. postal inspector and security management consultant, he advises and mentors leaders and trains workforces on how best to mitigate the threat of workplace violence through high-level advice; assistance in the development of multiple intervention strategies and of policy, plans, and training solutions with manufacturing, processing, production firms, and other businesses. Mr. Nater retired from the United States Army Reserves December of 1999 where he served in various positions of increasing rank and responsibilities culminating as the Command Sergeant Major of a major Army Reserve Command.

Keep in mind the following regarding lunch at Toscana's.

Lunch price is $17, plus beverage (other than tea or water), tax and gratuity.
We will have 4-5 selections including Panini of the Day, two pasta options, salad with protein, and frittata.
Toscana is located in the Shoppes at Southpark in the courtyard behind Williams Sonoma. There is ample parking in front and beside Williams Sonoma.
ANOTHER OPTION FOR PARKING: Consider parking at the Marriott Southpark located behind the Specialty Shoppes at Southpark, with access into the courtyard. May be a good bet if you are running later into the networking time.

We are having consistent issues with no-shows and last minute cancellations. Please be considerate in keeping with the ACAC values and the efforts of the staff in set-up and planning at Toscana's.
