Please arrive between 11:45 and 12:15 to allow for networking and to place your lunch order.

ABOUT PARKING: Consider parking in the Marriot parking lot behind the Village Shoppes at Southpark. There is access to the Village courtyard to get to Toscana.

ABOUT LUNCH: There is no fee to attend the meeting, however, you are expected to purchase lunch. Toscana's is providing this room to ACAC at no charge under the condition that all parties in attendance purchase lunch. The bread and beans come with a lunch purchase and are not provided as a replacement for lunch.

After insightful introductions starting promptly at 12:20 p.m., we will spend around 10-15 minutes sharing updates and reinforcing latest developments with ACAC.

How to Get It. How to Leverage It.

At our June gathering, Geri Rosman will tell us a bit about public relations -- what it is and isn't -- and share with us the process she developed and uses to secure media coverage for her clients on a national level. Her tried and true process is one you will be able to implement for your businesses as well.

BIO: BIO: Geri Rosman began her career in public relations at the world-renowned New York Philharmonic. After a few years in the Big Apple, she relocated to New Jersey, where she lived and worked before relocating to Charlotte in 2013. Geri launched her company, GR*PR, in 1997 and took another detour following 9-11, going “inside” to handle PR for a national law firm for four years. One of her proudest accomplishments is helping put the country Belize “on the map.” As a freelancer, Geri was responsible for pitching and scheduling every media tour of the country for two years with their Tourism Board. She secured media coverage from all over the world resulting in thousands of articles in both consumer and business media. Geri’s clients have been covered in almost every form of media we’re familiar with today.

Keep in mind the following regarding lunch at Toscana's.

Lunch price is $17, plus beverage (other than tea or water), tax and gratuity.
We will have 4-5 selections including Panini of the Day, two pasta options, salad with protein, and frittata.
Toscana is located in the Shoppes at Southpark in the courtyard behind Williams Sonoma. There is ample parking in front and beside Williams Sonoma.
ANOTHER OPTION FOR PARKING: Consider parking at the Marriott Southpark located behind the Specialty Shoppes at Southpark, with access into the courtyard. May be a good bet if you are running later into the networking time.

We are having consistent issues with no-shows and last minute cancellations. Please be considerate in keeping with the ACAC values and the efforts of the staff in set-up and planning at Toscana's.
