Please arrive between 11:45 and 12:15 to allow for networking and to place your lunch order.

ABOUT PARKING: Consider parking in the Marriot parking lot behind the Village Shoppes at Southpark. There is access to the Village courtyard to get to Toscana.

ABOUT LUNCH: There is no fee to attend the meeting, however, you are expected to purchase lunch. Toscana's is providing this room to ACAC at no charge under the condition that all parties in attendance purchase lunch. The bread and beans come with a lunch purchase and are not provided as a replacement for lunch.

After insightful introductions starting promptly at 12:20 p.m., we will spend around 15 minutes sharing. So, as we near our next meeting, please consider the following:

Did you have a one-on-on with another member, and what most impressed you in what you learned?

Did you realize a big win or success you would like to share with the group?

Do you have a need for a particular resource or insight to request within the group?

Mastering Your Value Proposition

The perfect follow-up to getting in front of CEOs, do you know what makes you and exceptional choice? The concept of “Value Proposition” is central to business strategy. According to Wikipedia, a value proposition is a promise of value to be delivered, communicated, and acknowledged. It is also a belief from the customer about how value (benefit) will be delivered, experienced and acquired. As consultants, we might be engaged to help clients define and articulate the value proposition for their products or services as part of strategic planning. But what about our own value proposition?

During this roundtable discussion, we will:

Examine the importance of value propositions to our role as consultants to management
Share our own examples of value propositions for consulting services
Learn to incorporate value propositions as we formulate client recommendations

BIO: Tom Bixby is President & CEO of LEVEL Management Partners, a management advisory firm serving owners of established middle-market and smaller companies seeking to grow the value of their businesses. Tom is also CEO of EvaluSys®, a Software-As-A-Service business providing online tools to streamline business development and solution delivery for consultants engaged in Business Value Growth and Succession/Exit Planning. In consulting roles, Tom assisted a $71B financial services firm in evaluating opportunities to launch an Internet-based channel for credit card customer acquisition, a $7B discount retailer with multiple human resource strategic initiatives, and a $1B world-wide produce grower/distributor with identification of overall strategic Internet business opportunities. In another successful engagement, Tom spearheaded end-to-end business process design efforts for launching the Internet Commerce distribution channel for a $4.9B global manufacturer. Tom earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management and a Masters Degree in Business Administration and Finance from Benedictine University.

Keep in mind the following regarding lunch at Toscana's.

Lunch price is $17, plus beverage (other than tea or water), tax and gratuity.
We will have 4-5 selections including Panini of the Day, two pasta options, salad with protein, and frittata.
Toscana is located in the Shoppes at Southpark in the courtyard behind Williams Sonoma. There is ample parking in front and beside Williams Sonoma.
ANOTHER OPTION FOR PARKING: Consider parking at the Marriott Southpark located behind the Specialty Shoppes at Southpark, with access into the courtyard. May be a good bet if you are running later into the networking time.

We are having consistent issues with no-shows and last minute cancellations. Please be considerate in keeping with the ACAC values and the efforts of the staff in set-up and planning at Toscana's.
