June 3 - Is it a matter of trust? How much do you trust yourself? How much do you doubt yourself? If you doubt yourself more, then it is time to understand why. Is it because you are unsure about your next steps? Is it because you don’t feel worthy? Is
it because you don’t feel experienced enough, sophisticated enough, challenged enough or a myriad of other “enoughs” that cause you to question your ability to proceed? What if the real answer was simply trusting yourself. Not questioning, not doubting, but simply trusting … one action at a time and one step at a time. Doubt feeds fear. Sometimes what you fear the most is where you need to go to ultimately flourish.
Take an MM&I Moment to reawaken your trust in yourself. List all the reasons you are doubting or are uncertain of your next steps. What are you afraid might happen? What are you imagining that is merely your thoughts getting the best of you? What is really holding you back from
proceeding? Take a moment to sit with your answers. Now what do you know about yourself based on past successes and accomplishments? How can those attributes be demonstrated in your next steps to diminish what you have been doubting? Write down three steps you can take, and then take one. One of those baby steps could manifest your giant leap forward.
