Is working hard not reaping desire results?
|
May 27, 2019 - Is working hard not reaping desired results? Is your nose to the grindstone day in and day out, and yet, you are not seeing the reward for all of your effort? Are you giving it your all only to feel as though it is just never enough? Do you
take pride in being in control and taking charge, always forging forward, and always taking action? Perhaps that is part of your problem. What you say? Sometimes our get-to-it attitude is actually part of what can get in our way when we are only believing things can get done if we do them.
Take an MM&I Moment to awaken to the possibility that your working harder is a hamster’s wheel instead of the wheel of fortune you envision. How can others help you get things done? How can you simplify what you are doing to focus more on what matters most? What actions are you taking over and over again that are getting you the same dismal results? What can you shift or eliminate as a result of the
lackluster outcome? How could taking an actual break rejuvenate your spirit to get you excited and focused in more powerful ways? When you feel like you are working too hard for what you are gaining, listen to yourself, because you are right. You have within you to make your effort matter in countless ways. Start with counting your blessings. Then embrace a renewed sense of how things can get done.
