Sept 29 - Is what's gone wrong a blessing? Have you recently experienced something not going as expected? Or has something gone totally wrong, even with your best efforts and intentions? Are you in the midst of a period in your life where you feel as though everything is turning left when you are turning right? Do you feel as though nothing is going as you would like it to be, and you are frustrated by the constant affronts you are feeling when all you want to do
is be productive, stress-free, and progressing forward?

What if all you are experiencing is actually a blessing? I know what you are thinking. Why would anyone feel blessed by what has gone against what was hoped, planned, or anticipated? Because when you view anything and everything from a mindset of appreciation, you are in a better place to truly see a hidden opportunity … to grow … to slow down … to learn … to better anticipate … to
consider other resources … to try another approach … to make the absolute best of what has been handed to you.
Take an MM&I Moment to awaken to how you can appreciate what has not gone right. List what has not gone as you had expected or desired. Then for each situation, note at least one thing you have learned, realized, gained, shifted, redirected, considered, explored, pondered, or
understood as a result. In this very process alone, you may just find a hidden gem of wisdom or insight that will take you further than you thought possible. And that is when being thankful brings the greatest blessing of all … acceptance and moving forward.
